SMS Templates
The SMS Templates feature in Agent Studio allows you to create and manage SMS templates for sending messages automatically. You can use these templates to ensure consistency in your communication, making it easier and faster to engage with customers.
- Create New SMS Templates: Design new SMS templates using dynamic fields like
{user_name}
,{otp_code}
, and{expiry_time}
for personalization. - View and Edit SMS Templates: View, test, and modify your SMS templates to ensure they meet your needs.
- Search and Filter: Easily locate specific templates by name or content using search and filter functionalities.

Creating an SMS Template
1. Create a New SMS Template
To create a new SMS template:
- Navigate to the SMS Templates section in Agent Studio.
- Click the New SMS button to open the SMS template creation interface.
- Provide a Template Name (e.g.,
Reminder
,Password Reset Request
). - Enter the Message content. Use dynamic fields like
{user_name}
,{otp_code}
, and{expiry_time}
to personalize the message. - Click Save to store the template.
Example of an SMS Template:
Dear {user_name},
Your OTP for logging into {application_name} is {otp_code}. The OTP is valid for the next {expiry_time} minutes.

2. Edit an Existing SMS Template
To edit an SMS template:
- In the SMS Templates section, find the template you wish to modify.
- Click the Edit button next to the template.
- Update the Name and Message fields as necessary.
- Save the changes by clicking Save.
3. Delete an SMS Template
To delete an SMS template:
- In the SMS Templates section, find the template you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
4. Search and Filter Templates
To locate a specific SMS template:
- Use the Search Bar to find templates by name or dynamic field.
- Use the Filter options to sort templates based on creation date or status.
Preview and Testing of SMS Templates
Before using your template, it’s important to test it. You can use the Test Spark feature to preview how your SMS will look with real data.

- Click on the Test Spark button next to the template.
